My name is Debbie and I have been a patient of Dr. Miller's for 4 years. I am a physical education teacher. Being a diabetic for years I wound up suffering from diabetic neuropathy in both my feet and shins. I had no feeling in my shins and very little feeling in my feet. My feet wore sore and achy all the time. As a result of the neuropathy my ability to teach and interact with my students was significantly hindered. I also had to give up coaching varsity soccer. I began receiving chiropractic care and low-level laser therapy 2x week. It took some time but I slowly began regaining feeling in my feet and shins. Today, I have full feeling in my shins and much better feeling in my feet. In the past, I had to sit down several times during a class for relief from the pain. Now I am able to stand and move around with my classes all day long. Though I still suffer from diabetes and continue to battle the neuropathy, the discomfort I have from diabetes is much less.
